Story

Damon is the older brother of Stefan Salvatore, and plays an important antagonist in this first season. He has moments where he shows compassion such as erasing Jeremy Gilbert’s memories or removing his “suffering” so that way Jeremy could get back on track with life again after being turned into a vampire by him; but then there are times when you see just how wrong things really were for Damon- like when we find out about what happened at Mystic Falls during their childhoods without knowing any better because Elena actually did know beforehand but chose not tell anyone else besides Vicki Donovan who was also one humanity left alive around town since everyone else had already been eliminated including her parents which made Katherine Pierce come over from Europe.
